Visual Basic Programming

    I have been developing software since 1991. I have programmed in a number of languages, but presently I only program in Visual Basic, Visual Basic Script Language (VBScript),  HTML, and some JAVA.  The majority of my programs have been developed in VB4, VB5 and VB6.
    Much of my work has been integrating Oregon Department of Corrections Criminal Information System (CIS) data, which resides on DB400 and Oracle databases, with Graphical User Interfaces (GUI). I have been primarily using Oracle's Objects for OLE, but have also written applications using ODBC methods.
    I often use a few third-party products such as Sheridan's Data Widgets and VSView to enhance my applications functionality and appearance. My resume states some of the applications I have written. I have a number of friends and co-workers that also program in Visual Basic, so no job is to large.
